NEFF

NEFF was started by Shaun Neff, in Southern California during the year 2002. Growing up in California surrounded by the skate, surf and snow culture and active in those sports he always had the dream to be apart of the business side of the industry. Originally starting out as a clothing company Neff made a couple shirts and hats and the adventure began. Shaun hustled the product out of his car buying 99 cent headbands marking Neff on them with paint pens then giving them to friends as the Neff vibe began. Shaun then moved up to Utah to attend college at BYU where he then met several key individuals in the industry. The first and vital character to the NEFF story is Nate Bozung who Shaun met at the TRUE LIFE video premier and the neff-bozung relationship began. Shaun and Boznutz would buy target beanies and headbands and give them the Neff touch then give them to the biggest, dopest pros in the snow industry. Chilling with Bozung and other pros such as: Travis Rice, IIkka Backstrom, Laurie Heiskari, and skaters Lizard King and Adam Dyet he realized to get them apart of the program and not conflict with clothing sponsors the company would have to focus on headwear. NEFF HEADWEAR was born being the first authentic core snow and skate headwear company in the game. That was the genius of our move at NEFF that really allowed us to go global under a unique niche of headwear.

Neff today is supported by some of the biggest snowboarders and skateboarders in the world as well as key personalities and DJ’s across the globe. NEFF is currently located in Ventura California and is sold in most key core skate and snow shops in the world. At Neff we are all about having fun and bringing new vibe and steeze to the game. At NEFF we are always the company that shows up at the tradeshows and gets instant buzz from our product and unique style it throws out. Shaun Neff describes Neff Headwear in his own words, “we are like a gumball machine spitting out endless flavors for the World to consume.” Neff has huge plans for the future and will continue to focus on the core roots of the brand meaning HEADWEAR, which has always been and will continue to be the focus in spreading the Neff love. Thanks for the support and love – Shaun Neff

CELTEK

We created Celtek with the idea of meshing the life we live into the products that we use daily. Our life’s about the six-inch rule – if it snows more than six inches, you drop everything and go snowboard with your friends. The dedication to getting first chair, duckin’ ropes and doing whatever you gotta do to get face shots and first tracks on a powder day is what we live for. It’s about pushing it to the next level and progressing. It’s a total commitment to being the best at whatever you do. We’ve brought that commitment to everything we do at Celtek, starting with handpicking some of the best snowboarders in the world to help design, develop and test our products. With the team’s input we’ve created a totally revamped product line that includes allover print tees, sherpa-lined hoodies, headwear, accessories and of course gloves, which is where it all started. Innovation continues this year with the gloves – trimmed down for better dexterity and function, with high-tech materials that bring the warmth and comfort to an all-time high. Working throughout the year, we aim to produce the best gear to perform in any conditions so we’ll never miss out on an epic powder day with our friends, what life’s all about.

AIRHOLE

Founded by pro snowboarders Kale Stephens and Chris Brown, Airhole Ninja Masks are designed to keep you warm during all your outdoor winter activities, whether snowboarding, skiing or snowshoeing. They use innovative functional materials, unique form-fitting patterns, and the most groundbreaking concept of all—a hole that you can breathe through! The upshot is an accessory that's as menacing as full-face masks but without the petty criminal connotation.

The Vancouver-based duo designed the product after trying all kinds of scarves and bandannas to keep warm while snowboarding, but never finding anything that was really comfortable. Since they had both been really into ninjas while growing up, they modeled their masks after ninjas and carried that theme through the line.

Made from cotton spandex Airholes are lined in polyester and available in five different styles, all named after ninja swords and knives and available in three different colorways: Black Ninja, White Ninja, and Red Ninja. I'm particularly loving the black ninja pirate mask. It's sure to have people clearing a path for you as you cruise down the slopes.

ENDEAVORSNOWBOARDS

Starting out with a laptop and cell phone pro rider Max Jenke wrote a business plan in university.

An oppertunity presented itself in the summer of 2001 to make some sample boards in Oregon. Max jumped on in immediately and recruited the help of his friends, Scott Serfas, Randy Rorr, Chris Martin and Rob Dow. Tey went down to the factory and made the first prototypes. Shortly after, Max hopped on a plane and fley to Europe in order to convince Paavo Tikkanen to join the crew and make somthing out of nothing. A year later, the first range of boards were produced and shipped.
